How to add Your address in Microsoft Surface for claim warranty and start service order

The second issue of adding address to your Microsoft account in order to claim warranty all this happened because Microsoft page that come out from Google search is always the US webpage and does not have geo location capability thus you cannot add your address due to postal code difference with "an invalid data property error" will occur. How to set back to your local location is for https://support.microsoft.com/en-sg/contactus/ look at the bold part it is en stand for English and sg stand for Singapore so if you are in Singapore pls add "-sg". Warning: changing Your location may affect Your Surface repair procedure for example You are staying in Singapore but You bought Surface from Hong Kong, when you change Your location to Singapore there will be error in some models that is not available in Singapore the only way is to call Microsoft to confirm if Your Surface device no longer supported or because of location issue.

If still cannot then You must setup new address in Microsoft account, the steps are:

1. Go to Microsoft account page and login.
2. Choose profile and add Your address.
3. Back to Microsoft device page start your service order.
4. Choose Your newly created address.

in Case where You want to claim warranty or replacement but the Surface is bought from other advanced country such as Hong Kong or Australia which have Microsoft service center, You need to contact Microsoft for shipment address detail and arrange for them to ship the replacement unit to your designated address or any shipping company back to You, this one need time and many communication please be patience :)
